Kirsten Meisinger, MD, Regional Medical Director and Director of Provider Engagement, Cambridge Health Alliance
Kirsten Meisinger, MD is outgoing Medical Staff President, current Regional Medical Director and Director of Provider Engagement at the Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA). She has worked as a Family Physician at the award winning Union Square Family Health Center, a Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) practice, since 1999, and has been Medical Director at CHA since 2008.
She is a health systems transformation expert and faculty on the Transforming Clinical Practice Initiative in the US and the Health Care Homes Initiative in Australia.
Dr. Meisinger has faculty appointments at Tufts University and Harvard Medical School, and is core faculty on the Latin America Team at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI). Dr. Meisinger earned a BA from Brown University, her medical degree from Case Western Reserve University, a Masters in Health Care Delivery Science from Dartmouth, and completed a Family Medicine Residency at the Greater Lawrence Family Health Center in Lawrence, Massachusetts. She speaks fluent Portuguese, Spanish and French.
