2022 Speaker Profile

James Harrison is a research faculty member in the Division of Hospital of Medicine at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF). His career has focused on research and quality improvement efforts that seek to improve the delivery and experiences of healthcare for people who have been hospitalized.

 

James conducts patient-centered outcomes research within learning health systems in order to help accelerate the translation of research and evidence into practice. James also leadstwo Patient & Family Advisory Councils (PFACs) at UCSF, is amember of the PCORI Patient Engagement Advisory Panel and an PCORI Ambassador.
