Christopher R. Trudeau, JD, is also an Associate Professor at the University of Arkansas Little Rock, Bowen School of Law. He has also led the Regulatory Knowledge & Support function for the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences’ Translational Research Institute for the past two years. 

Professor Trudeau is an internationally recognized expert on clear legal communication, informed consent, and health literacy. He is the first lawyer to be appointed to the National Academies of Science, Engineering, and Medicine’s Roundtable on Health Literacy and the FDA’s Risk Communication Advisory Committee. He frequently speaks on creating clear legal documents that people can understand, improving informed consent practices, and on reducing organizational risk and increasing compliance by integrating health literacy best practices.
